Jay Ellmyer - Director/Coach

RECRUITING COORDINATOR

Jay has been involved in volleyball as a player and a coach for over 25 years.. As a beach coach Jay has worked with all levels from the beginner beach junior players to the adult pro beach players. He has coached at camps and All Star junior beach events in Florida and California.  He has indoor volleyball coaching experience at the middle school, high school and the club levels, both boys and girls.. He is a USAV certified beach coach and a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). He is married to Ansley Ellmyer. They have two children: Cassidy and Cody.

rose washington

Rose started playing indoor volleyball as an outside hitter at age 8 in Maringa, Parana Brazil. She earned a scholarship to play for a private High School in Brazil. After playing for the High School and her city Maringa, she was selected to represent her state Parana, Brazil making to Nationals twice, taking first and second place. In 2000 she moved to Cape Cod, USA earning a scholarship to play for Cape Cod Community College. She moved to Florida in 2008 and started playing beach volleyball in 2009 and has competed and won at the Pro/Open level. As a beach player Rose has competed in the Evp tour, Dig the Beach,EEVB, NVL, Sandbox and AVP qualifier events. In 2012 she won Nationals representing the city of Delray Beach on the EVP tour and also in 2014 she finished #1 in points on the Dig the Beach tour Pro/Open level. She has been coaching children for several years on the beach and indoors. Rose is married to Marco. They have two children, Jonathan and Matheus and a dog named " Major".

tammy pelski

Started her professional beach volleyball career in 1985 playing in the Jose Cuervo Tour as the youngest beach player at the age of fifteen. Placing 5th on two stops that year. She continued playing in the Corona Lite, Bud Lite, and the Descente tour where she won national titles in all three tours. Tammy played overseas in the Israeli pro beach tour winning two consecutive championships. As well as winning the Costa Rica Invitational. 1990-2001 Tammy played on the WPVA, AVP, BVA having top 5 finishes. 1992 she represented the USA in Rimini, Italy in the World Fitness Festival. Tammy retired in 2001 to start a family with her husband Andrew Pelski who played on tour as well. Soon after the birth of her daughter she started coaching privately beach and indoor camps and clinics in Fort Lauderdale. 2014 Tammy was named assistant coach at FAU where she help lead the owls to 9-6 dual match record. Tammy has over fifteen years of coaching experience, with thirty years of playing experience at the open level and is still in love with the game.

eric tenien

Eric has been playing volleyball since 1994. His coaching experience includes indoor volleyball for 17 years and club volleyball for Palm Beach Juniors for 10 years. He currently coaches the top 16’s team for Treasure Coast Volleyball. Eric served as the Head Coach at Northwood University for 3 years. He has been coaching beach volleyball for 15 years, offering private trainings and group sessions, as well as directing other beach club programs. Some of Eric’s former trainees have obtained beach volleyball scholarships at colleges and universities. He is married to Brandi Tenlen, and they have a daughter, Piper.

orville osbourne

With over 20 years in martial arts and strength training, Orville brings experience to help build strength and conditioning. He teaches techniques on how to increase speed, build muscle and increase explosiveness on and off the court. He is married to Melissa Osbourne and has two daughters Malia and Anjalique.

Rick Bily / Coach

An avid beach player, Rick played indoor volleyball at the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He has coached High School Volleyball for 8 seasons including Head Coach of the Boys program at West Boca High for five years. Rick was also the FAU women’s club coach for two seasons. Rick continues to play competitively in beach tournaments in Florida. Coach Rick has his own brand of Volleyball gear under his VB gear label. Rick is single and lives in Boca with his dog BeBe

Morgan Baer

Morgan plays at the Open Level and is a certified USAV Beach Coach. Married to Marla Baer with two daughters Nikki and Riley who both play competitively.
